Just a short little vid of a Vette at the drags. Thing to watch is from inside the car, after about 1:00 in. Acceleration looks pretty comparable to a stock 1zz, maybe with an intake.

Compare it to what you hear. He was accelerating for 2 seconds or so before the needle moved at all. Then it "caught up". Also compare it to his launch from the back view. A amazingly fast 0-60, but not as fast as the needle suggests.

Really though, you guys aren't seeing this kind of needle movement? Must be the TM duals.

I see that kind of movement with the wheels off the ground... all the time.

EDIT: Haha, and I just thought of something fun. My old little 600cc f4 reportedly does a quarter about exactly that fast (11s). I find it hard to believe I've experienced speed like that. It looks so much slower on a motorcycle, which had always been my gripe (oddly).

Whoa! So that's what an 11 second car looks like. I've never ridden in anything that fast. Nice camera work too. It really puts that time in perspective. I'm also baffled at the 0-20 time. I wonder what the G forces were on that trip.
