Maybe you should have saved a little longer so you could buy center caps and regular lug nuts.

And for Pete's Sake...when the top is down, lower the windows!!!

Hey it's cold up in those mountains. He's about 6-7000ft up in that last pic. I've parked many times where that one was taken (that's on Blue Ridge just before the public restrooms right?) to look at the stars at night. It's a long way down over the edge right there. Glad to see that the road is still open.

I like them without the center caps, and they will stay cap-less on my car.
Don't know want you mean about the lugs. But thats the color and type for my preference.

Yes, it was cold up there. Snow were still on the side of the road for most part. The road condition was pretty bad too. Lots of loose rocks (softball size) were on the the road.
Hey Joe, you should come to one of the meets sometime when you have time. It seems like you know lots of good twisties. Lead us!!

I'm in Victorville now...so it's a long drive to the twisties that are local to you folks. I dunno. Maybe Spring....maybe Glendora Ridge Road, but I don't know if the fires burned thru there again. We'll see.

    I hate you mlk_f1.

Those are the wheels I want for my Spyder!

I would get 15" in bronze though. I would also leave off the center caps, but I'd get black Kyokugens (which PMok has now!).

No, those are someone else's skid marks.
We should have a meet up there sometimes. Its a nice relaxing drive when the roads are clean. About 70 miles of twisties.

    I got the Ricoh exhaust.

You can get the 10 spokes in 4 x 100 bolt pattern if you don't mind the extra weight. 10 spokes w/ our PCD only come in 17 x 7.5.

No, its the Angeles Crest HWY from LA Canada to Wrightwood. It also leads you up Arrowhead and Big Bear is you continue past wrightwood and the 15fwy. I like to try to run the whole thing soemday. There must be more than 150 miles of twisties one way from La Canada to Big Bear.
    Anyone interested?

Coming from this side of the Angeles Crest, it's just beyond Wrightwood. It's the highest point on the HWY and gives you the most impressive views of the mountains. Blue ridge: http://tchester.org/sgm/places/blue_ridge_summit.html

Dude, you don't want to do that. That is hours of driving and you'd be tired of it about 3/4s of the way into it. One piece at a time, either just Angeles Crest or just from the 15 to Big Bear is cool. Putting them together is insane.

If I can I will. I haven't been out there yet. A little mud, dirt and snow won't stop me  Me, Garn and Spyderbob did a 4-5 hour run(350 miles) last year up in Ojai in the Los Padres National Forest. We ended the route in the Malibu canyons which me, you, Jay and a few others went through on a run to finish it off. It was a blast.
