There is an exhaust hanger bushing that is bolted onto the back side of the rear crash bar. My car came in with one missing. Do you have the bushing with the bracket?

Good choice. I went with Braum seats also. I like the quality of the seats and the rails they sell.

Just like in Ford there is MicroCat, SnapOn CPD and Catalog Advantage. It just depends on what catalog they use. There are companies out there that buy of old obsolete parts from manufacturers when they stop carrying them. CJ Pony is a good example when it comes to Mustang parts. You might be...
  6. Sparco R333 seats in Spyder

    Appearance Modifications
I set them in the car briefly then pulled them back out. I have to put in my hard dog roll bar, relocate the battery and repair a bullet hole in my firewall (seriously a bullet hole) before I swap in a K24A2. No pics of it but they fit. I should have waited until everything else was done...
  7. Sparco R333 seats in Spyder

    Appearance Modifications
Braum has some listed as being for a pair and some are listed as each. The Sparco seats are more than Braum are here. I got the ones with the huge bolstering in the seat base. https://www.braumracing.com/product/elite-r-series-racing-seats-black-cloth-white-piping/

They look cool but pricey. https://www.sparco-official.com/en/r333.html Have you considered the Braum seats since they offer a bunch of similar stuff and they actually support the Spyder by offering seat tracks made for our vehicle? http://www.braumracing.com/universal-racing-seats/ I bought...

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
I would say World Pac would have it but you will need a business license and an account set up to purchase from them (often cheaper that the dealership). Also you could try putting the impact screws back in the rotors to help lock them in place in case the noise is coming from them moving under...
  10. New Ecoboost 1.5L dragon swap

    Performance Modifications
My only concern is the high pressure pumping system (if GDI), all the solenoids, control valves, sensors, etc that are on the newer Ford engines. It is insane how much tech they require to run correctly. Friends who are still working in Ford dealerships complain about all the nonsense they...

Any conversion is going to run well beyond what you are looking to spend budget wise. Just look for another low mileage unit from here or an import from Japan.
  12. New Ecoboost 1.5L dragon swap

    Performance Modifications
If you meant the 4 cylinder 1.5L ecoboost then Ford has had numerous issues with the 1.5L motor. The DS7Z-6006-D having issues with defects at the edge of the cylinder walls, overheating and other issues. The motors were on backorder at one point. That number has been replaced numerous times and...

Remove the scaling rust from the caliper brackets before putting on the new hardware and get the OEM hardware. While you are at it make sure the caliper slide pins aren't binding up.
  14. Powdercoating wheels and braces

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
I haven't seen any issues when done on frames and other parts with hotrods. I guess like painting it depends on the prep work and how think or thick it was put on. A friends Exocet car and been well abused and the skeleton on it looks great still.
