We just covered this in excruciating detail in another thread, including C60 disassembly and assembly from the Toyota Repair Manual, exploded views of all part assemblies from the Toyota Parts Catalog, and various instructions and details. I think you should be able to find this fairly easily...

This is a good question. I don't know.
  4. Lost Keys & Immobilizer Fix

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Some locksmiths are able to clone a key with the same keycode as the original. Usually the equipment requires to have the original key.
  5. Lost Keys & Immobilizer Fix

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Some locksmiths can do this: they can virginize the ECU. Then it will accept a new key. I don't know if there is a locksmith in your area that can do it. Google "Locksmith Charlie" you can send your ECU to him and he will send it back to you ready to pair with a new key. Or you can contact the...
  6. Low Voltage on Fuel Pump

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
I would add to this... this. It spells out clearly the wires and connectors you have to test. Somewhere something is compromised. You should have 12v.

My impression is the stock 2GR has an autonomous fan controller. I haven't looked into it too much beyond troubleshooting some stock 2GR vehicles but I think it just receives a temperature input from the ECU over the Canbus. I don't think the ECU does any fan control. I'm not like 1 million...

I had a feeling you might be thinking that. Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha.
  10. Best budget computer for a boosted 1ZZ?

    Engine Management
An ECU that gives you the best bang for the buck for tuning a boosted Spyder is the ECUmaster EMU Black, retail $1,099. Then you'll need a Bosch LSU4.9 AFR sensor, $66 from DIYautotune.IAT sensor and mounting bung, about $30, also from DIYautotune. A Bosch flat response knock sensor and pigtail...
  11. looking at transmission options for a MR2 Spyder manual for a V6.

The real answer for A/c is to put a electric compressor in the frunk just like you do on a lot of other swaps and restomods. This helps weight distribution, simplifies plumbing, and there's plenty room for it. But it costs $$$$.

E153 new axles are off the shelf retail now available in different strengths for more money. Depending on what you do with your rear hubs you may end up building either a custom axle or a custom hub or both ha ha ha ha up to you. This is not a cheap swap. If you have to even think about how...
  13. looking at transmission options for a MR2 Spyder manual for a V6.

Besides the e153 and s54 you can mount an EB60/EB62 (6-speed from Camry or Scion) or an EA60 (this last one is used in Lotus Evora and requires an adapter plate available from MWR - it is very heavy and would not be my choice). I believe you can use Gouky's mounting system for the EB60/2AR to...

Yeah sometimes when I get up in the morning I forget who I am and I have to check my own driver license to find out.

Either buy a cheap 3-d scanner or find a shop near you that has one. If money is an issue for you join a "Maker" group in your area they all have 3-d printers and scanners.

  17. How to replace VVT OCV on a 2zz swap?

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
This really sucks because it was never intended to be serviced in this tight space and even in a FWD Celica or Matrix it is a bitch to do. I'd go further undo the front and rear mounts and unfasten the engine mount and walk the entire engine back if you can, keeping it on the transmission mount...
  18. How to replace VVT OCV on a 2zz swap?

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
There are no two ways about it, the oil breather tube has to be moved out of the way. There should be a bolt that attaches it and the dipstick tube to the intake manifold. Remove it to increase the clearance.
  19. Sourcing a 3.9:1 final drive?

    MR2 Spyder Main Forum
For 3.941 fd ratio you specifically need the paired ring gear and output shaft from a EURO-6 C66 transmission. To my knowledge there is no other 6-speed with this ratio. Looking this up on amayama.com - you'll need to double check that I found the right parts! Searching for UK 6-speed parts...
