  1. BC Coilovers Height and Dampening Settings?

    Suspension and Handling
For what it's worth, damping is something you set to preference and feel but you set and forget. One day of driving and it's done. I set it to the softest then bump it up till the car stops bouncing. Your spring rates are stiff though so you may need a bit more damping to compensate if they're...
  2. hit a fence, half dozen error codes now.

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Again... no one has any idea what the damage is. How can we possibly guess here?? The only sensor in the exhaust is the O2 sensor and you can unplug all three and idle fine. Unplug them if they're hanging out. But again, we can't tell if they're damaged because no pics.
  3. hit a fence, half dozen error codes now.

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
It would help to show what's wrecked. We can't magically tell if the manifold is busted.. but a car would idle without it.
  4. What did you do to your car today? v.2

    MR2 Spyder Main Forum
Denso is the supplier for a lot of companies. Hence why a lot of people use STI MAFs for turbo builds. Denso, same plug and all.

We tried. Ain't gonna happen. All AG forums are being changed like this now. Contact an admin for any edits you might want to do and hope they respond. I asked them to give me mod status so I can help out around here, but I was ignored.

  11. Best budget computer for a boosted 1ZZ?

    Engine Management
You're also gonna need injectors, maybe a fuel pump, an intercooler and piping (you can get away with an A2A rear mount for street), blow off valve, boost controller (if not built into the ECU), new exhaust, and more. I am not sure but I hear the Emanage Ultimate is good for a basic turbo...
  12. Best budget computer for a boosted 1ZZ?

    Engine Management
A quality turbo kit sans ECU won't fit in that budget honestly. Most ECUs are around $800 and up, unless you buy used. Avoid the PowerFC, no knock control isn't ideal.
  13. Shocks

    Suspension and Handling
Welcome to Spyderchat! What shocks did you buy that didn't last a month? Good shocks come from Koni and KYB.
  14. Build Progress: Tesla style radio system

    Audio and Electronics
I don't have issues with shifter clearance thankfully. I run a floating off the shelf Alpine.
  15. Sienna/Highlander Nav transplant

    Audio and Electronics
Toyota nav units kinda suck. Go with something aftermarket with Android Auto/Apple Carplay and use Google Maps. -Someone who has a 2017 Lexus equipped with navigation but it's so bad he never uses it

  19. Complete front strut/coils/support

    Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Probably lack of forecasted sale due to the small number of Spyders sold. Quick struts are great.
