Modifications
Drivetrain
Re-painted the exhaust manifold heat shields with 1200 F degree high temp. aluminum paint. Extended the air box shielding for more seperation from the exhaust. The air box heat shields now have fire resistant insulation blanket on the sides facing the exhaust Added a home made diverter tube to direct cooler air from the side vent to the air intake . The photo is of the prototype.
Interior
Mk I badge from Greenstreak on Steering wheel.
Exterior
Small lip spoiler on the back, Mk I badge on the Nose, . Mk I mud guards modified to fit the Spyder behind the back wheels. Pontiac Sun Fire side skirts modified to fit.
Wheel and Tire
Painted brake calipers with Takoban Motorsports Spyder decals. Drilled and slotted brake discs from Brake Labs. Mk I badges from Greenstreak on the wheel caps. B F Goodrich g-force sport tires, 195/55/15 front 215/50/15 on back. They are a bit soft on the sidewalls but they are ok for daily driving.
