I bought this car about a year and a half ago and I love it to death but its been horribly unlucky. In the time I've owned it:
the hood latch failed causing the hood to hit the windshield damage covered by insurance
valve seats failed forcing a warrenty rebuild
exhaust got a hole in the flex pipe causing under warrenty cat replacement
rod knock discovered causing under warrenty short block replacement
hit a porcupine causing 1200 in damage
hit a guardrail avoiding an unsafe driver before even getting the porcupine damage fixed causing an additional 10k in damage both ended up being covered under insurance
and finally the most recent, a piece of road debris was knocked up hitting the timing cover expelling all the oil and destroying the long block, covered under my insurance and being sent down to Littlerocket for 2zz and 6-speed which are both AMAZING
Still I love this car to death.
