  1. Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Yesterday, my midpipe broke after the cat and right below the flange where the mid pipe and muffler meets. I got the midpipe fixed today but also found out that my car threw a P0135 code (should be the o2 sensor on the header but correct me if im wrong). I tried erasing the code to see if the...

Someone local to me is selling this Magnaflow dual exit exhaust with an aftermarket (OEM style) catalytic converter. Everything seems to match up with my hardware with the exception of the moved O2 sensor which is located in front of the catalytic converter rather than behind. Will this still...

I had a obx header and downpipe installed last week but the o2 sensor wires are not long enough. I'm short about 17 inches off the factory sensor wires and can't seem to find any extensions online.anyone know where I can get extensions or an aftermarket sensor with long enough wires?

Hi - New member & pretty new Spyder owner in Australia (Perth). I've been progressively troubleshooting a CEL issue on 2003 model that garage says is O2 sensors, which is still not resolved, and will be subject of another (extensive!) post! As this problem has got me exploring the engine in...

It took me a long time to sift thru the search results to find a comprehensive list of parts, tools, and supplies I needed to change out my O2 sensor. Rather than add to one of the myriad threads on the subject, I'd rather start another one. This way all the useful information is at the top...

I am installing an EFIE (O2 sensor enhancer) for my 2001 MR2 Spyder...does anyone know where they are located and have a photo labeling them so I can hook up the EFIE inline? Also...are the wires analog or digital or both? I'm thinking the wires are the OBD ii wires...am I right? My EFIE needs...
  7. Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
I recently was unable to complete my emissions test due to a check engine light. The heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 is causing the issue. After reading the forums, I concluded the driver side, as seen in the picture is sensor 2. After driving for 100 miles the check engine light returned, could...
  8. Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
All, I need help; I tried searching around this site (& Google), but can't seem to find what I need. My CEL came on and the comp says "P0136. Oxygen sensor... circuit bank 1, sensor 2... See p2270 & P2271" and then lists the same codes again, but as 'pending'. I saw in another thread that...
  9. Care, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
I am the third owner of a 2001 spyder with currently 103k miles on it. The car was running decent but had a couple of details that did not let the car run to its full potential. First; the idle was rough, the engine hesitated on acceleration and the engine felt a little bit tired. I went...
