Depends are you going to paint the window frame black also? If you do I've seen black top, yellow bottom, looks good. But before the window frame was painted black also looked kinda off putting with a hard top. Cause in reality all spyders are two tone with the tops up, unless you have a black car with black top.
Maybe some colored high lights here and there??? A good idea get a bunch of 3m colored vinyl of your choice and start playing with it. That way you know what it'll look like before you commit to paint.
It is a very rare two tone paint job that improves the look of any car, IMO. For one that works, look at the Spyder with the Gulf Porsche paint scheme (light blue and orange).
Just plain stripes doesn't look good because a.) It is small car, b.) It is a convertible (so stripes don't continue over the top), and c.) frunk and rear details (in the front you have that indented V and in the back you have the slots and other openings).
