2001 MR2 Spyder Silver Hardtop w/ Mods
127,000 miles on chassis, ~22,000 miles on rebuilt engine. Clean title.

I bought this car in 2016 (was garage kept by previous owner) with the desire to do the occasional track day and as my daily. The engine was burning oil when I got it so I decided to rebuild it and mod the piston oil control ring holes to avoid this issue in the future. I also gutted the pre-cats. The engine has been running strong for almost 22,000 miles now. With the all the replacements and mods the car has been very reliable and very fun. The wheels, tires, suspension mods as well as the alignment and corner weighing has set the car up with well balanced, neutral and predictable mid-engine handling characteristics.

Partial-rebuilt original 1ZZ-FE (still has original crank seals and bearings).

The Not-As-Good:
driver's seat fabric is worn
driver's side carpet has some rips
left rear fender has a ding near the wheel well
slightly worn syncro when downshifting from 5th to 4th.
Very slight oil leak coming from the chain tensioner. Should be easily addressed with new gasket.
small crack on windshield on the passenger side (about 0.25")
