Not sure why I cannot attach pictures so here is a link to the craigslist ad.

Bought the car from ATS Racing in Denton, TX in March 2017. Aaron from ATS Racing did the swap.
221,xxx miles on the body, unknown miles on the 2ZZ.
Running an early US Celica ECU with the 8100 rpm rev limiter.
6-speed manual transmission, no LSD.

Intended to turn it into an hpde car but got a Subaru BRZ in the meantime.
Too many car projects at the moment and the Spyder has lowest priority so it would be nice to sell it to someone who has more time and desire to work on it.

The bad:

Body is not in a great shape, clear coat is peeling in a couple places and front passenger fender is chewed up by a dog (I purchased it that way).

Currently has p1693 error code and will not go into lift. Drives fine without triggering the code to 6000 rpm. The code happened a few months after I got the car. There was a broken lift bolt in the intake cam, I got it fixed but that did not fix the error code. At this point, I think it should be something simple, I am just not familiar enough with the platform and do not have time to work on the car.

There is a small oil leak from the oil pan, will have to be resealed. You can see how much oil seeped under the oil pan in the period of perhaps two months. The car is driveable, just check the oil level once a week oar so.

Previous owner(s) smoked; you can still smell cigarettes a little bit.

The good:

I installed a new Sonnendeck soft top in May 2017.

I installed a Moroso oil pan in May 2017.

In March 2018, when the lift bolt got replaced, the shop installed a new timing chain kit and the coolant was replaced.

I will include brand new Yokohama S.drive tires. Got them from TireRack last month, have not installed them yet.

Cold A/C.

Asking $3,000.

The car is located in Bryan, TX.
