I am re-wording my thread since it was not a good enough "car for sale" ad.

Motor: 2zz swap 350 miles currently.
Vinyl stripes can be easily removed
Original miles: I will check tonight, I believe around 100k
Headers and exhaust professionally high temp coated black.

New clutch is making noise.

Accepting reasonable offers

Also, this pics were taken before the black dual stripes installed. I have not had time to take photos of the car with the new stripes and badges on my camera, but did get a few on my iphone. You can view them at this addy.

From July, 2011:

I have a 2002 MR2 with a 2ZZ installed, however after only 8 thousand miles there is a loud clunking noise like something is smashing the top of the head. VERY loud. I dont know what is is but I cannot drive it. I am going to purchase a new 2zz and install it myself in the forgot winter for fun :)

I used to have an old name on here but forgot my password, but once someone sent me this thread or website where this guy did a full instruction on how to remove the 2zz from the spyder. It had photos and everything, pretty sweet. I tried searching it on here but came up with nothing. Any info on how to remove the 2zz would be much appriciated. Thanks guys! and gals!
So does the car have the same motor as described above?
um you just shot yourself in the foot with those black stripes. car now looks like a badger.

Would be a big coincidence to have swapped motors again and have the same exact mileage. . .
Is that fake vinyl carbon fiber on the back?
Location? Miles on chassis? List of Mods?

Incomplete info gives the appearance you are not really interested in selling or you are hiding something.
Bought the car from a nurse

always garage kept

I have always kept this in the garage as well.
The previous owners occupation is irrelevant.

The two garage statements are impossible to validate.

Badger?.... Okay.

And yes the motor is swapped the motor has around 350not 3500 sorry for the mixup.

If you are not interested then why are you putting your two cents in? Immature people and their comments I swear... And yes, the car had been garage kept. Thanks

I don't have time to sit here and chat all day like you, of people think I'm not serious then so be it. The serious people wanting a deal will give me a call. Have a good day everyone, I will be able to answer calls today about the car.
My "two cents" were designed to help you post a better ad.

A nurse being the previous owner neither adds or detracts to the cars value, it gives no useful information to a potential buyer and is thus utterly irrelevant.

You may have always garaged the car, when not in use of course, but you have no way of proving this to a potential buyer. As to whether the nurse garaged the car, you have only their word on that and cannot verify it or prove it to a potential buyer.

You have cluttered your ad with useless trivia, rather than useful information that any buyer would ask.

No one will seriously consider buying with that attitude noob. If you cannot answer important questions about the car on an open forum, most people will think Caveat emptor.

It has a different motor. The old one was burning too much oil and just a Mess. I have the old one if anyone is interested in parts off of it also. And yes, I did forget my password. Thanks investigator

9376581717 is my number. Anyone seriously interested and that want to come see the car and hear it run can give me a call. If you have questions that have been unanswered give me a call. I am far too busy to be "chatting" in this forum all day and dealing with people that think I'm "lying" about my own car and not giving enough information. I'm not an expert on cars, but I know what I have and I know the amount of money I have put into this car with the new 2zz. Thanks guys!

Great attitude for a seller.:lol::lol::lol:
Trying to be helpful here:
- where are you geographically?
- did the second 2ZZ have zero miles to start and now has 350 or was it a pre- used engine?
- who did the 2ZZ swap for you?
- do you have an idea what you want for the car assuming the buyer will need to get the clutch repaired, otherwise you're going to get start offers of $1 vs close to what you really want

People here do get a little suspicious when a poster with very little participation on the board writes here just to sell something, especially a car, so the more information you post about your car, the better. It will help your sale.

Again, just trying to help.

Yes the engine had 0 miles to start. The company that did the swap was monkey wrench racing. And yes I do have very little preticipation here as a member. I have a busy life. But this would be a good place to offer a deal for someone, I figured it would be appriciated...I'm asking Kelly blue book minus a few thousand or so. Like I said, reasonable offers will be accepted. I am located in Dayton Ohio area. Thanks for your help by the way.
well in this case my friend I have to disagree. Every nurse I know is a chain smoking machine under high amounts of stress. Every nurse I ever met has a car that looks like a toilet.
Very true actually. Lol

Well, thanks for setting me straight. Sounds like you are terribly busy and important. SCer's, rush to your phone and make that call now!
