I have a breach in the low pressure tube of the AC. The tube runs just in front of the passenger wheel well and has a hole at the bend. The car is a 2001.

I took it to a Toyota dealer to replace the tube. They are having a hard time finding a replacement. They ordered it from the California warehouse, 10 days ago. It never showed up - raising questions about the competency of the supply chain -- but not helping my situation. I do have a loaner - dog of a Camry, with faux paddle shifters. Uggghhh.

Anyone have any thoughts on a fix. Monday they will return the car, unrepaired. Has anyone cut and patched in a tube on the low pressure side?

Can't you find a used one from someone parting out their car?

Companies that fabricate hydraulic lines should be able to make you a new A/C line if you can bring them the old line.

I have a similar interest as I want to relocate an A/C line.
