When I first bought my Spyder it had a few rips in the soft top. When I knew it was going to rain I would run out to the driveway, cover it in painter's plastic, and tape it down on the sides to the bumper. Not to dissimilar from your picture.

Also nice pencil sharpener and not nearly enough clamps you got there.

You can never have too many clamps! And the pencil sharpener still works even when the power is out! I was doing some touch up paint on the underbody of mine (previous owner bottomed out the car 🤪) and didn’t want to get overspray on the rest of the car, hence the plastic sheeting.
