The mid pipe is leaning on the bottom panel.

How should I remedy this?
  • add a ton of spacer at the mid attachment
  • cut a hole where it touches
  • don't run a rear panel
  • put some kind of hi temp foam in that area to cushion the vibration

Looks like you could remove the mid pipe heatshielding and that would give you all the clearance you need, no? It already got hacked up for the wideband, why not finish it off. You can always wrap the exposed midpipe with some fibreglass exhaust wrap if you're worried about it

That's odd, was that midpipe repaired or something? Or maybe the exhaust supports damaged?

When my car was stock, the under-panels never hit the midpipe...
I think this is on a 2zz swap. My Beatrush fits fine with the 1zz. Either remove the heat shield or dent/cut the beatrush.
