Looks like you could remove the mid pipe heatshielding and that would give you all the clearance you need, no? It already got hacked up for the wideband, why not finish it off. You can always wrap the exposed midpipe with some fibreglass exhaust wrap if you're worried about it

How should I remedy this?
- add a ton of spacer at the mid attachment
- cut a hole where it touches
- don't run a rear panel
- put some kind of hi temp foam in that area to cushion the vibration
