They also list two options for the MR2 spyder NA or turbo on their site. The turbo one says it includes a base map for turbocharged cars and does have a different pn than the NA one, but I wonder if it's just the base map that is different between the two? http://www.apexi-usa.com/store/electronics/power-fc.html?model=515
That's interesting, I've always read in the past that the boost control only works on cars that were factory turbo. Never seen any turbo celicas or spyder use one on a 2zz
That is definitely interesting. Where in the interface would you set that? Would you need new software from A'Pexi? I have a Greddy boost controller currently, but it would be nice to have it all controlled in one spot.
I think all of the PFC's have the 5 pin port, possibly a carry over to make one case. I was looking at the Boost Control Kit and the harness adapter doesn't seem like it would fit in the rectangular port beside one where the Commander plugs into. That leaves me questioning where do 2JZ and 3SGTE guys plug in theirs?
I know there is a different part number for the MR2 Spyder Turbo PFC but I think it only includes a base map. I have a copy of it from a member in South Africa that bought the Turbo PFC and I assume it's for their turbo kit that was never sold in the US.

Just wanted to follow up. I just got off the phone with APEXi and even though it is listed on their website the boost control kit is NOT compatible with any ZZW30 powerFC. Bummer.
