i have drilled brake disc at the front which is covered in brake dust. checked the disc and no lip, so was wondering whether i should change new disc? or can i clear the holes using something?

Check your disc thickness, front disc: min thickness 18.0 mm (0.709 in.) new should be 20 mm (0.787 inch). Although if you don't have any grooves and never got them turned you should be fine. Do you have rust or brake dust in the holes? You should be able to clear the holes. Even then it's not really necessary. The holes are there to help with cooling and let gasses escape easyer.I'd try and reuse them if I were you but it's your decision.
New discs are relativily cheap so they shoul'nt set you back that much if you go this route.
