Posted this ditty in the ricerchat thread, but too awesome to bury in that thread. Anything this bad needs a thread of their own! Probably went back into china-mart for some more of them. And yes 6 of them on the other side!

The other giveaway is the white pin striping everywhere (unless that's chrome). General fugliness all around.

By my count that makes it a 14 cylinder. 6 on one side, 8 on the other, bet it was hard to balance.

Those things aren't exhaust ports; they're "Cruisealine Ventiports".
Use Google Images. Search for "Buick VentiPort".
Good 'ole American Rice!

Duesenburg, and others had functioning exhaust ports. Modern day cars are suppose to be emulating them in a real crappy way.

Either case they really look bad

The LFA has a fake triple exhaust port which masks the true dual exhaust pipes behind it.

"Tuned large diameter, equal-length exhaust manifolds run through dual exhaust pipes with a lightweight titanium dual-stage main silencer "

Plus I've confirmed this with my own eyes (owner of Lexus of Escondido put his personally owned LFA on the showroom floor).

Yamaha's musical division tuned the sound for that car.

I don't care if it does have fake exhaust ports. That exhaust note is the stuff wet dreams are made of.:wub:

This rumor just has to stop...

I've seen it personally myself, on one of the prototypes at Lexus Headquarters, and again when it was first shown at the LA Auto Show.

Sure, there are 2 headers and 2 pipes going to the muffler, but it splits inside the muffler and exits 3 pipes. That's where the beautiful harmonic stuff happens.
