I'm feeling a little more serious today.

Yes it's possible. I even considered doing it. It was a very brief debate though. I've been cut off in traffic more times than I can count, and they usually act like they didn't see the car. I don't want to make that worse.

I would at least put a switch on them if I ever did this. That way I could run them if I wanted to, and they wouldn't just be disabled.

There are several threads on here, like those listed above, discussing how to do it if you are determined.

If you want a switch, your car came with one, its on the left side of your steering column. Rotate it two clicks forward, and your lights will be on, and not a dim brown color, but full intensity.

That's what we did for years before the DRL marketing ploy.

I ended up using this switch under the dash to connect/disconnect that DRL.

I wanted to get a switch that I could replace the coin thing in the dash at the left of the steering wheel. The one at Toyota cost something like $70...

Anyone use maybe a stock fog switch? Pics?
