the problem isn't the springs, its the dampers. you need a more sophisticated damper and a more digressive blow off system if your going to handle really stiff springs, and get good ride quality out of them.
If the dampers can't be set to control the springs, then it is the dampers; but 7k/8k is extremely stiff for the Spyder for the street. The original Tein S are 3k/6k, and are significantly stiffer than stock.
