Downpipe Separation: Anyone Else Experienced This?

The downpipe just separated at the little couplers. Didn't hit anything or drive rough. Was just driving around town and all of a sudden started sounding like a racecar! Haha.

Anyone else experience this?

2002 MR2 Spyder. Bone stock except for Che Header. Only 52k Miles.

This happens a lot. Normal as the car ages. You can have an exhaust shop weld in new flex-pipe sections. Or buy a new downpipe.

I recommend the Flow Master. It's cheap and you can actually feel extra power.

I just got mine from MonkeyWrench, and the picture is old... but the pipes are new. They have the most current model, with the exhaust hanger on the cat. Shipping was fast and the price was right. Perfect fit.
