HAHA I wish. Last estimate was about $16k, and since the MR2 is still the daily, it'll have to wait a while. Hoping to wrap up the 20b RX8 this year, and buy a house. New car and rotary MR2 will have to be after that.

I'll keep an eye out when you guys plan to meet up. It may be a good excuse to come up there again.

Thank you! Please do. The sport bikes bring the cops out. But, at least they actually ride. The Harleys though, those guys are TERRIBLE on the Dragon! Especially the heavy bike morons. Why they take cruisers that scratch the side pipes on curvy roads like The Dragon I will never understand.

Looking at the calendars it appears April 8th is actually not listed as an event day...... I think the Wookies the following weekend will have a lot of younger drivers to watch out for. The rotary meet would be interesting to show up during. At least those folks would by definition be required to know how to work on cars.

Hmmm...... Well I guess being up there with a bunch of hot hatches on the 15th may be ok. I suspect there will be some incidents. But, the same is true for the rotary crowd too.

Well the spyder is so light, if u have a truck/suv , u can easily trailer it, consider yours is much lighter than mine .... i am consider trailer mine but gotta talk to my old man see what he thinks

Yeah, it's a LONG drive from here. I have done the trek like 5 or more times now in the MR2. So, I am not concerned with the reliability. But, it does bug me burning up the tires on the highway. I have a hitch on the 4runner. But, the 5th generation model weighs so much it would take like 120 seconds to reach highway speeds towing anything. It would not be super fun to make that trip.

Put some street tires on stock first than swap wheels when u arrived lol, I am bringing my truck with my mr2 tho

Being a former Honda guy, and lusting after a K swap Spyder makes me want to see someone else's K swap Spyder run circles around those RSXs...
