I second the tolerances. The ring issue was addressed 2003 and later. I am sure alot of builders will say thats not a problem with my builds, I worked in an automotive machine shop for several years and they may be right, there are alot of highly skilled builders out there but I didnt want to risk sinking 1800$ into a rebuild when i could buy a factory new with 0 miles for a few hundred more. Reason for selling, my SMT gave me fits so i gave up on the whole project. I could not do the standard conversion because i needed an auto due to the amount of time i sit in start and stop traffic. My clutch leg would fall off. I still have the block on the pallet.
