Hi all. I finally Purchased an MR2 from Private Party Locally. 2003 Black on Black.

There is the car...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003...6688748?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4ab6564bec

Owner had Toyota Platinum Warranty. It needs to be transferred. Anyone here ever transferred a warranty before? How does it work? I have a book that Previous Owner signed. I fill it out and send it to address with a check?

Thanks:)

Congratulations on your new-to-you Spyder. The eBay listing has expired so we cannot see your car. To post pictures here on Spyderchat, you'll need to upload them to a service like photobucket (it's free) and then copy the coded information into your post. I think the SpyderChat library has full instructions, if you need them.

Welcome!

I spy an aftermarket spoiler and a cold air intake. Other than that, it looks pretty much unmolested. Very clean find. And in black, well done.

Thanks for the Warm Welcome guys. I hope it is a good one.

Uncle Mush, You should still be able to see the Details of the car and Pictures.

and Lushman, I am impressed. Nice eye for mods. Yes it has those things. I thought the wing was stock MR2 wing.... didn't know. And the Cold air intake is not placed correctly. Part of it is sitting on Coolant hose and I need to fix that (Maybe change it back to stock, not sure).

I am going to take a few more pictures soon and post em here.

Thanks

Whats wrong with the radio? That is one of the better aftermarket choices for the spyder IMHO.

It looks like a great car with some tasteful mods. Welcome!
Key word "aftermarket." Just that it looks aftermarket, and IMO, cheesy. But to each his own.

I just replaced my factory radio with a Pioneer single din HD, but attached a factory wiring connector, so the conversion can be reversed easily. I purchased an aftermarket Toyota mount with under radio storage, but I did mangle that one foot removing and will replace.

It is worth it for the HD and multiple cd formats. It doesn't look "bad", but not as smooth and fit looking as the factory. The original worked great and is in storage...no damage done...and the music/access is so much better.

Congrats on the car...Nice....you'll have a lot of fun.

The stock radio can be fitted with an aux port. Works fine for iPhone and all it's features. Looks cleaner too! To the right of the eject button.

It is. You're lucky if thats a genuine wing. I have a replica, its okay, but I'd rather have the real deal. Congrats on the purchase!

I thought the wing was stock MR2 wing....

Thanks everyone for welcomes and congrats. I bought the car for the car. The Package that it came with, I cared less. But I am happy with it all.

The Stereo, in my opinion, is very nice. It has Bluetooth with hands free calling and The colors are completely customizable on screen and on buttons. I have it cycle colors and looks very fancy. It is not HD but its okay.

BTW, this is my first Stick shift car and I find it very easy to learn and drive.

I am going to see if I can post more pictures...
