Is it even possible? When I say Frankin motor I mean a 1zz bottom end mated to a 2zz head. Or are they totally different. From my understanding it's just the head that's slightly different. I have an interesting idea in the works. Hard to just see 3k worth or short block and turbo just go to waste when do a "creative" engine swap. Things that happen when you have lots of random bits laying around, some space, a few bucks of income, and able to do 90% of the work yourself.

thanks for the short answer. Least the majority of the turbo bits will be able to transfer over to another shell.

Do a search it's been done before.
Dev, I’m intrigued. I did a search but couldn’t find relevant results. Do you remember who the OP was or the title of the thread.

you can get a stroker from MWR either 1.93L or 2.0L

1.93 uses a 2zz engine with a 1zz crank, custom rods/pistons, and miscellanous parts

2.0 uses a custom crank/pistons/rods, and probably miscellaneous parts

these are about as "Frankenstein" as the 1zz/2zz gets.
