Gorgeous Spyder, GLWS
It probably has double it's for sale value in goodies. This is a well thought out MR2.
Nicely done. I like the center console sub thing. It limits you to a single-din radio, but a nice touch for sure. Other mods are nice as well. If those are recent pics, it's in fantastic shape too. Good luck with the sale.
Very nice GLWS. Hope you get a 76 Celica.
Was this the same Spyder that was put up for sale by someone in California not too long ago?

It still has the CA license plate.

Buyer Beware? My wheels got stolen? ...and i bought used wheels? This is my only car and i use it everyday to get to work?

For those who are weary here on syderchat...

Heres a picture of the title with my actual license

You could also check me out on mr2oc.com username: maplismr2 where i have a very reputible seller buyer feedback.

So let's not get confused if I am a legitimate seller. If you like we can get a Skype date going too? would you enjoy that? I can do it from inside the car? =]

BUYERS BEWARE, I AM TRYING TO SCAM YOU!!!

or you could contact me through a personal message with your concerns before trying to put me on blast with a link i put up after my wheels were stolen.

Bump!

I never said the car isn't yours and all that other stuff wasn't necessary to prove it as that is not what I was asking. I asked "what is the story on the wheels" as you never answered inquiring questions when you listed in the title the wheels were stolen in Vegas yet your car looks like it's on a jack in Washington state. You could have cleared up a lot of suspicion if you would have answered but apparently either you never followed up on the thread you started or you are hiding information that is not entirely accurate.
Why does this matter, because it makes whatever else you may or may not describe about the car suspect.

So again what is the story on the wheels and where was this picture taken.

Good questions.

My friend and I both frequent craigslist a lot and that's one of the things we did in the first couple weeks they were missing, was to check craigslist and searching key words i.e. "ro_ja, motegi roja, 4x100, hankook tires..." and so on...hoping just hoping that whoever stole them would be stupid enough to post them on craigslist due to the fact that the sizes of the wheels and tires are very rare, along with the bolt pattern making them very easy to spot.

One day while my friend was on google, he typed in some of those key words like Ro_ja Motegi 19" Hankook and boom, popped up an expired craigslist posting for the the wheels in VEGAS. The posting had expired, so if clicked it would bring you to a "sorry this post has been deleted" page on craigslist, but you could still see the description of the post on google.

Same size at 19", the widths for the wheels, and brand of tire. The only difference being the sizes of the tire. Although the sizes of the tires were different i thought it was enough to hope that the wheels ended up in Las Vegas somehow and that they changed the sizes of the tires on the post to eliminate any similarities with my original wheels. It is to date the closest I've gotten to finding any kind of lead on the wheels. Which is why I posted the shot of the google search.

The car unfortunately was stuck outside during a snow storm indicative to the time of the posting which is why the rotors were rusted. It had been outside and there was no way i'd get into my driveway with 3 inches of ice on the ground in a rear-wheel drive car. and my garage was full because of a move and i didn't have room inside the garage for any cars.
The jack that was used was a slim honda jack, and it was placed on cinder blocks.

I never followed up on the thread because frankly, spyderchat isn't my favorite forum, not because I'm with holding any information its because I'm a MR2oc guy, I still find myself looking at sw20s and parts for sw20s even though I no longer own one, I have way more posts on that forum than I do here at sypderchat because I like mr2oc better, and therefore check it less often. The only reason I'd login to spyder chat is to see if i have a private message from someone that spotted my wheels?

Maybe I haven't followed up because my grandmother died on thanksgiving 2 months prior? or that my dad left my mom?? or maybe I started a business while still working at a resturant bartending full-time at the same time?

Maybe I didn't have a lot of time to follow up on a thread on my 3rd or 4th favorite forum??

I hope that clears up any questions anyone might have on the legitimacy of my car.

Wow. Really nice car man. GLWS.
Not that it matters but I believe you however why did you edit your the first post on the stolen wheels thread less then an hour ago.
You do realize that when you posted, it left a lot of confusion for everyone.
I don't know? Maybe I grabbed this picture

[/QUOTE]

From that thread?? To use to prove why it was a vegas craigslist post, but my car was in washington? And i grabbed it by clicking "edit post" ?

Why are you still even posting? I explained your little questions VERY WELL, so if you don't have any inquaries into actually buy the car, the GTFO? lol

Quit sweating me Sherlock Holmes.

Well since we are being rude I will say that if you had taken the time to post articulately the title of your stolen wheels thread you could have avoided so much suspicion.
It is no wonder people thought it was suspect because you never explained anything and it read like your wheels were stolen in Las Vegas.
Just a little tip, make sure you have a lawyer present if you ever get taken downtown for questioning or you might accidently incriminate yourself.
Don't worry about these goofballs. They like giving people a hard time. It completes them!

You've done a very nice job on the car and I wish you best of luck with the sale. Any plans for another Spyder or will you be moving on?
