Ok .... I'm trying to stay focused on my 2ar swap . I will start getting the materiel rounded up so right after I get my car running I will make some more . I've also been working on a new design breast plate since Corky's first retirement and I think he's on his third , but maybe I'll have some of those ready by spring also .

Thanks, it's growing on me. I like that it looks more finished vs just having the area completely open with no shroud insert in it. The spoiler is a universal one from ebay. I had actually cut it and shaped the side I cut to put it on my Toyota matrix. When that car got a spoiler add on I transferred this universal lip spoiler to the mr2 and didn't need to cut it or anything. It's like a hard rubber/plastic. I don't remember the actual buyer I got mine from, but this is pretty much the same one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-Trunk...01-244L-SpoilerKing/272056034340?hash=item3f57cda424:g:zd8AAOSw0vBUkmFw&vxp=mtr

Very nice.
Thanks! What a bitch it was to clear out the plastic between each diamond on the lower half of the mesh! LOL

The inserts were so kinda beat up to where I didn't care as much if I messed up. If you look closely at them you can see how bad a job I did. The problem was one bit would melt the plastic then that plastic would gunk up the bit and it would hit the part I didn't want to touch and start to take material off. The other bit made everything furry. I didn't have the balls to shine a lighter to melt/smooth the areas. As for the inner pieces near the license plate I didn't want to destroy them right off the bat seeing as I just got them ($21 ea. from a stealership). Since they are near the license plate I don't mind it not being cut out.

It seems a few are wanting to redo their exhaust so here's an update .....

I've been slowly making the brackets for the license plates , just about done . I have the tube bought and some cut to length , still need to get the end mounting brackets cut and bent . By then maybe the weather will cool off a little so it's not so bad under the welding helmet . I still don't know exactly when but it will happen , when it gets closer I start a list .
