Originally was a TRD supercharger unit stock that comes for the Matrix / Corolla or Celica I believe and it was taken to a supercharger shop and modified to fit into a Spyder without cutting the firewall, only requires a small push in the firewall but only to give the alternator a little more clearance. Only about 3-4 kits are out there like this. It was taken off my original owner while engine was in his car and put in my car while the engine was in.

Complete kit, will work with stock intake / exhaust or just about any aftermarket. I ran it initially with stock intake then with a PPE intake / exhaust.

Will email you the tune that I got with a stock intake, that should make it run safe until you get it checked or retuned.

Will come with all brackets, 380cc injectors, pulleys, management Emanage Blue with plug and play harness (keeps OBDII), instructions, 170 degree TRD thermostat. Possibly will come with fuel rail and Throttle body hooked up, depends if the person buying my 1zz needs that stuff.

I don't know if this was dyno'd or not, but my guess is this will put down ~200whp, but the instant torque is what it's all about. Oh, yeah the sound is worth the price of admission.

Greddy makes a bolton, no mods needed m62 for the 2zz and no firewall mod needed.

The SC had a cool factor that is rare for a Mk3 , but I love the turbo Spyder.

I don't think this would be worth it for ARM or leg because then how are you going to drive your spyder well? A kidney I think is like 5k too! Haha

And the greddy for a 2zz is only for a celica or corolla if I'm not mistaken making it cost probably a hell of a lot more than the 3400 to get it working with a spyder. I wonder why not one spyder has a s/c from greddy on their 2zz or is love to see it.

The 2zz Greddy doesn't take away anything from your unique kit. The only reason I backed away from it was I wasn't sure of mileage on it and never heard back from you.

There have been 2 or 3 2zz Greddy s/c known to people frequenting s/c over the years and I've seen 2 of them for sale here years ago. One was done at MWR. The owners attested they were no body mod drop in. Still requiring fuel and tuning add ons.

I have this same setup. At 7psi I put down 178whp. I was out of meth and the stupid shop only sold it in 10gal increments so I dynod with no water or meth injection. With it I'm confident it would just kiss 200whp. I also have custom exhaust but am tuned VERY rich. With a proper leaner tune this setup is good for 225whp.

But as noted, whp is Inconsequential. I have an smt (read:no launch capabilities). If I feather the throttle to get it moving then mash it, I can do immediate cookies on my 225 sticky tires WITH a quaife LSD (NO diff slip).

It is an extremely fun car. I recommend this kit to anybody. Short of a 2ge swap this is the ultimate spyder setup. And no I don't know this guy selling...but glws.

I can post my dyno chart if anybody is interested. TORQUE. LOL.

The celica 2zz kit is bolt-in to 2zz the spyder. It just barely fits without having to cut the firewall. I have seen two spyders with this kit. The problem is without any kind of intercooling the kit doesn't really make much power. The other issue is the alternator getting cooking sitting next the exhaust header.

How many miles have you put on the alternator?

Also do you have a heatshield between the alternator and the header?

The harder you drive the car the hotter the exhaust get and more you degrade the alternator.

When the alternator fails is anyones guess.

At least they are much easier to change on the exhaust side of the motor.

Incorrect, the rotrex goes where the ac comp goes.
