My dome light has been misbehaving lately. It worked some of the time and the switch seemed finicky. Now the dome light won't turn on and my clock only lights up when the dome switch is in the middle position. I have tried a new bulb and it doesn't make a difference. Years ago there was a similar post but no replies. Anyone else experience that the clock is only lit up when the dome switch is in the middle position?

The reason that I specifically did not pick ground in this case is that the dome light has its own grounds. It grounds through the door switch or its own mounting screws, depending on the mode switch. It is the one device in the car that is guaranteed to have no ground coupling.

Checked the fuse. Clearly blown. Replaced it and all is well. I guess the power to light up an old led clock must be minimal...and must have been bleeding from somewhere. I'm a happy camper so I also popped in a Zevo LED bulb while I was at it.

Thanks everyone for helping.
