I'm getting ready to purchase cams, valves, and springs. I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to increase the compression. I have 2 questions. Are there any problems with the stock 2zz connecting rods? I am planning on revving to 9. I think I heard something in the past say about them being faulty, but idr who or where it was. Also, will stainless steel valves be able to handle 12.0:1 compression? I'm looking at these ones.

Think these are too thin and will be problematic down the road?

I have used 2zz rods up to 9500 rpm and 400whp never an issue. Its the 1zz rods that are weak. 1zz rods are a lot thinner than 2zz rods. However if you have the means to upgrade to a chromoly H beam rod go for it.
