It depends on when LR gets mine finished.

My car goes to him this Sat. and he said it should only take a couple weeks... perfect timing.

(Not gonna rush LR though, I know he has a lot of projects going at the same time)


Only problem I have with the BBQ is the whole MONDAY thing.
most likely I will be picking up my spyder on a Sat. or Sun.

Will be watching this thread though.

you dont have to have your spyder to come hang out :wink: .

 

3 1/2 hour drive and only a Dodge Ram (12 MPG) to get there with = can't make myself do it.

Even if I have the spyder back by then...
3 1/2 hours is kinda silly.

Oh, yeah, one of my asst. mgrs quit today...
I get to look forward to 75 hours a week until I can get her replaced.

Oh, and there isn't a lot on a barbeque menu that my stomach will allow me to eat. Pretty much just chicken.

i kind of thought that too. bbq is not set to one kind of meat. anyway...

 

After you get that swap done yall should all caravan up to Austin and come driving in hill country with me.

I am flying in that day, but wont arrive till sevenish. Will be staying near George Bush park on west side. Don't know if any time to visit. How late will this gala go on? No.no, not flying in for the meet, just to visit my son and new grandson. Would sure like to make it though. If I am within a couple of miles, anyone interested in providing taxi sevice?

I won't be there, but you should all reschedule for Sept. 15th. That's when I'll be flying in to get my car my LR. So just make it easy on yourselves and reschedule for then.

OK, got all the meat for the BBQ on Monday - so far we have the following attendees :-

Paul Price - arriving between 7 - 8 PM cos he's got to play with his car first
LR, his better half and siblings
Oilfield, better half and siblings?

Action starts around 6:30 - 7 PM

Anyone else, please PM me for map as I have a fridge full of meat, marinating, just bring beer

- it's just outside the loop on the NW side
