In an attempt to give back to this fine community....I recently puchased a used 2001 Spyder and the owner did not have the socket to remove the OEM Locking Lug Nuts.

I used a 12 point 3/4" Socket ($4 from Sears) tapped it onto the locking lug nut using a hammer and then used my rachet and breaker bar to easily spin the locking lug nut off. When tapping the socket onto the locking lug nut just tap it on far enough to get a bite on the socket or else you may not be able to remove the lug nut from the socket once you have completed the job (experience). A vise helps in holding the socket while you pound the lug nut out of the socket.

Replacement non-locking lug nut is an OEM part 90942-01033 (front)

I tried Toyota for the universal thing and they just looked at me like I was dumb. Eventually went to Dobbs and got those stupid things taken off for $50
