Hi,

I am shopping for a mr2 spyder right now, planning to campaign it in cstock, but I ran into a question:

There is a plastic cover in the frunk over the top of the strut, how does one put in the koni yellows and get to the knob? Is cutting a hole in the plastic allowed in stock category? If not, does cutting a hole put one in prepared or street prepared? Can one put in the koni struts and have the knob be underneath the plastic so that one would have to remove the frunk liner to change strut settings?

I was planning to buy the koni shocks, but they have to be class legal to do me any good...

thanks!

I have those inserts - it takes maybe 5 minutes to remove the frunk plastic, and you can easily access the adjustment points from there - in, tweak, out in about 10 minutes. Can't comment on the rules matter, but if I were intending on keeping the plastic in there, I wouldn't want to cut holes in it since it is pretty easy to remove. Hope that helps...
