Instructions for kswaps tell you to use the throttle cable side of the bracket but hook the cable to the plastic cruise control cam. This is wrong for two reasons:

1) It puts stress on the cable as it is now at an odd angle having to cross over (stiffer pedal).

2) The throttle cam utilizes only the inner spring. The cruise control cam operates the inner and outer springs. This causes a much stiffer gas pedal.

The reason this was done is because the throttle cam has a smaller hole than the cruise control. One simple fix is to drill out the hole. I used a 9/32 drill (~7mm). Takes about a minute to mod.

Yes, that is correct. But, this is a free mod. I didn't realize there was a difference in hole sizes until I spent 30min blindly trying to use the throttle cam. I did the mod on a spare tb I had after seeing the difference.

I combined both methods, drilled out the hole and made my own little cable holder like the Karcepts kit has.
