I understand there are less protections for the buyer, but would bank e-transfers work to get around the $600/year limit? We use them for pretty much everything up in Canadaland, and I was able to buy ~$4,000 worth of parts off of a member here that way and didn't have to say what the money was for. If Amazon can get away with paying $0 in taxes I see no reason for us to pony up either.

Zelle works with many major US banks and does not report transactions to the IRS, though your bank probably does.
