They know their stuff. You wont fool them with an aftermarket exhaust manifold. Everyone knows at this point stock 2zz manifold doesnt fit without lowering or cutting the subframe. They expect to see those subframe mods.

You use the spyder fuel tank with the celica or matrix evap canister.

FYI the canisters are all the same only the brackets are different.

I finally found a donor but is an auto. Taking a look at the various threads I don't see anything about the ECU VIN having to match the engine VIN, meaning I can mix and match an auto 2002 GTS engine with a manual 2002 manual ECU?

I believe as long as your MT ECU is CARB legal and doesn't throw out codes. Probably part of the reason why I don't see too many BAR legal 2GR MT builds.

Too risky. Find a manual. When they run the vin on the donor its going to come back as an auto. You don't want to deal with issues like that.
