Hello,

I’ve read somewhere that the 2ZZ and Honda engines are quite the same.

I bough a flange that fits 2ZZ engines to convert an 1ZZ or B16/B18 exhaust manifold to fit the 2ZZ. Which I’m going to test but that got me thinking.

Can we fit/have an honda B/K Skunk2 intake manifold on our cars by converting the flange?

as long as it’s cable driven which isn’t an issue.

anyone who did this? And if we can’t why can’t we? What the big difference?
The exhaust manifolds are almost the same.. seen a pos between K20 and 1ZZ before.

Since I have a flange I wonder what would be better to use... K20/K24 manifold or B16/B18 to modify it?

many other things I’ve missed?

Exhaust manifold just has to fit, and it will work at some level. The intake calibrates the air-fuel mixture, so success is a matter of chance. Let us know what you find.

Bore spacing is bigger on all those engines, I doubt an intake can fit. I recall someone put a B series header on a 2ZZ by cutting at the flange and bending the pipes a little, but there's not enough pipe to work with on the intake side.
