I'm in Austin. I'm also the one that usually plans most of the hill country drives for the Central Texas MR2s (MKI, MKII, MKIII) I was trying to drum up some support for a hill country drive sometime at the end of the month but its looking more like sometime in October now.

 

I'll be in Houston on Sept 15 to pick up my car from LR

hill country cruises

alright, well keep me posted on the hill country drives. i wanna get a late generation get-together planned for a meet in central texas somewhere, that way it's accessible to everyone and unfair for someone across the damn state. I need to know about a couple weeks ahead of time, so hurry!
so that is 3 tx owners...ill run a poll or something and let it sit for a week. if i get like 10-15 replies on here, then it's a for sure go. i know 3 other mr2 owners down here in this area as well.

 

I'm in the Northern part of Texas; the place without fun roads.

I'm in Austin....I have one problem though. I work at the post office 6 days a week, 12 hours at a time. That leaves me little time to do anything else...UNLESS there is a meet on my day off...which changes weekly

I have Sundays free too, and I'm not too far away from waco. I'd love to do a central texas track day or cruise through the hill country. I know of a few nice drives around here and waco, I won't get my car back from LR for 2 or 3 weeks though, but after that i'd love to organize something.

I have a friend with a MR2 Spyder here in SA. I'm more of the internet guy/car enthusiast so that's why it's me on here instead of her. :wink:

Looks like all of this died off.....what a shame!

I'm in San Antonio and I would love to get together for a nice drive/track day or something. I know there is one other MR2 guy here in SA that is on the board (A1C Dan.)

I would love it even more if I could take a RIDE (notice not drive) in a 2ZZ to see if I wanna do that or swap back in a 1ZZ when it dies in a few more months (3 quarts of oil every 3000 miles sucks.)

Anyway, let me know if you guys are serious. Saturdays are great for me but I can always take off during the week if needed.

 

What about an Auto-X event? I've never done it before, but I'm sure it'd be fun. Or track as in the drag strip? hehe

Or maybe a cruise on the weekend up in hill country.

I mostly hang out with RSXs and S2ks. We set up cruises every so often. It'd be interesting to set one up and bring out the Spyder.

 

I keep seeing a black spyder w/ black rims/polished lip around potranco/151. You were behind me yesterday too, heh. It's like the 4th time I've seen ya in two weeks, u on here?

and I saw this crazy-lookin orange one goin the other way on 410.. anyone ever seen that one before?

lost27 led a drive during the winter in Austin. It was pretty dman™ fun. I'd be up for it again, but I want to get the 2zz in my new car first.

LOL!! Sry so...long for the reply, I usually just read on here and don't post too...often. It's possible it was me, considering I've only seen (2) other Spyders in this area. A yellow one and another black one on stockers. I push a black 03' w/ 16" black Enkei PKR's, if u see me again honk at me...you push an RSX-S right?
