Just wondering if anyone's mounted one of these badges on the hood instead of the bumper and how it looks.

Reason for asking is mine has a TRD Stage II bumper therefore no place to put the badge

Got mine in last week, took off the sombrero & installed today - looks GREAT!

Pics to come. Actually spent quite a while on install - hot water & dental floss to remove the Toyota sombrero, Goo Gone to clean up the residue, then clay bar to remove the debris, Menzerna IP then FP buffing, a coat of Klasse sealant, and a coat of Wolfgang sealant, then put on the new badge. Wanted to make the bumper worthy of that beautiful badge!

This is a great product and the quality is superb. I accidentally didn't put my e-brake up one day and it rolled down a few feet and hit the rear of a 4runner. The badge basically saved my bumper and took the impact. The badge obviously cracked but the crack is small and not noticeable from 2 feet away. Just thought I'd share haha

 

I purchased one, it looks flawless. Although, I would recommend shipping then either UPS ground (includes $100 free insurance and tracking) or USPS certified or delivery confirmation (includes tracking). I work to a shipping store and first class mail is like rolling the dice. Mine did get here perfectly though. Great seller!

 

Not to argue, but I have excellent service from the usps, albeit I have had a couple of close calls in Europe, excluding the UK.. Even Asia and Australia has shown excellent service.

Great product I love the blue with my white Mr2. Since installing it and removing the rear toyota badge as well I've noticed alot of people in my college apt complex staring at it and walking around the car with a quizzical look and grin and my car is always brought up by some pretty cute girls at our parties.
