It’s an easy install and the fitment is great for me. I finally took more pictures of the final result. I had to repaint it today because the new wheels showed up and were a little different of a shade than I had thought.

I think I like what you did here. What I'd really like is to see more pictures of it in the daylight.

Take it easy on him THIS is the potato phone he had available.

It does look kinda right. The only thing I don't like is the mounting points. Too blobby but the wing is the right shape.

+1 to daytime pics. The easiest thing to make out is your license plate! Also, is your antenna color matched to your side vents/top? Any plans on changing the side vents to match the wing & wheels?
Value wise, I am sure its an easy home run for the OP. Nice job!

I hope someone takes inspiration and finds a good fit for a front chin spoiler on the cheap swap.

I have been looking into the front chin trim plus aftermarket carbon splitters. No reason to spend several hundred dollars when the edge of the bumper is quite similar to a lot of other small cars. We just need to find the right one. I was looking at Fit, Yaris, Echo, Miata, and a few GM things. There are a couple I like but quality of the suppler is questionable. Also, a lot of the modern stuff has aggressive sharp angles. The Spyder is bulbous and curvy everywhere. So that just wouldn't look right. I am STRONGLY considering a C5 or C6 Vette splitter and sectioning the center of it. The curve of the Spyder makes it challenging to get something to look right.

I wanted something like this but maybe another 2" more protrusion forward.

This is one that I have found that is ehhhh inexpensive. The problems with this though are numerous. Cheap aero is not always bad but a front air dam / splitter could see a lot of force.

And some Vette ones that could work. FWIW, I REALLY like the the one with the carbon radiator scoop. They make that in much cheaper GRP that I would not feel so bad about cutting up.

More pictures coming soon and I’ll actually use something other than my iPhone 7 at night haha. Yes I am going to repaint the side and front vents to match the wheels very soon. The wheels I bought turned out to be a different shade than I had expected so I’m doing some re painting.

Saturn Ion Redline spoiler also fits really well with no modifications besides drilling holes in the decklid. GM planned for this!

That spoiler is too far forward visually and aerodynamically IMO. The air is detached at that point even with a hardtop. So, you are not really getting any appreciable downforce. From a looks perspective the Spyder is a stubby car already. I think that's why Toyota kept the wing so low and even made it go over the tail lights. Ab-flug addressed this with a trailing spoiler behind the tail lights. And that is one of the most interesting aftermarket spoilers for the ZZW30 chassis. When I finish designing my new uprights that is what I will do. Move the wing back to pull the eye line back lengthening the car. The clean air flow also dips down a bit a few inches behind the start of the tail lights. So, there is some performance to be had placing the wing further back.

Well now I’m keeping my eyes out for a part out redline! Looks like very similar dimensions for the mounting point. I love how nicely it lines up with the body lines.
