Looking for some help. Tonight when I was pulling out of a restaurant my power steering went out and I have the p/s light on the dash. Feels like the steering is very hard to turn and now is making an oscillating sound. Any suggestions?

do you know of the last time PS fluid was added to the car? and if so, what brand?

Woah...check this out. after a little bit on google I found on another spyder forum that if you turn the ignition 20 times on and off the p/s works and the light goes out. Thought I'd give it a try because I was frustrated and lo and behold.....It worked!

very happy to hear that!

the spyder uses special electric p/s fluid. so make sure thats the only kind you ever put in there, for future reference

Hammer on the Side of the Motor has been shown to work too..

Don't overfilled the power steering fluid unless you want to replace the pump.
