Request for thunking help.

Hello! I'd like some help with a thunking/clunking noise coming from my rear passenger corner.

Inside the car it sounds like something is loose and moving around. It mostly seems to occur when going over bumps or quick stops, but not always. I've pulled the wheel off and tapped around with a nylon hammer and nothing moved around.

I shot some video of the suspension in action to try and help with a diagnosis. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

From the video; there does appear to be a more suspension travel than I would expect given the tire travel. To me, that points to a bad strut. But the strut does not appear to have oil leaking from it. So then...
The strut cap/mount/bearing could be a culprit as that sound might be a loose cap or the bearing.
There could be something like exhaust banging against the body. That is simple to assess.
Then there might be an engine mount issue - but that is a reach.

It takes 15 minutes to pull the strut. If simple visual assessments and strong arming parts doesn't give you an answer, then pulling out the strut is what I would do. The cap should be tight and the piston difficult to compress.
