This is a re-post. Is this new or just new to me? I'll support anyone trying to diversify our appearance mod options. We don't have very many left. I kinda like it. Possibly for sale here if still available;

I've recently called shops for more information on their Spyder products listed for sale online only to have them tell me it doesn't exist anymore. Meanwhile the Honda Civic has a mind numbing number to choose from. No justice.
Are there any other unknown, obscure, kits out there? If so, post'em if you got'em.
So, what do you think?
Is this kit beautiful or the bastard child of a thousand maniacs?

I, for one, am extremely impressed with the design of this kit. It also seems to fit together well and looks great. The only defect I would mention is that they designed it for a single exhaust, not a dual. If you are spending close to $4K on a body kit I would assume you have already changed to a dual exhaust.

I find the stock car looks better. Stock headlights look more modern, the kit makes the car looks longer and not too sure about the rear. I do like what they did with the side door panels and the lines they incorporated there.

I am also very impressed. Looks very clean/sleek.

Maybe there is very little out there for our cars for two reasons:
A) obvious reasons of supply and demand- not many Spyders out there.
And B]-the Spyder looks pretty darned good out the gate already. B)

Kit has been out for a very long time.

Here is probably one of the largest collections of kits you will find and it still isnt complete but i have ran out of time to continue searching. There is a similar thread on this forum but many of the pictures no longer work.

Thanks for the link. The stock Spyder does look pretty sweet. I still remember the first time I saw one. I thought to myself, Holy S#[email protected] Then to discover it was a Toyota! Sadly, many kits are not available anymore. On the link you provided someone posted that there should be links to "if and where" these kits are available. That still seems like a good idea.

I have known of the kit for a very long time. To me it looks more like a love child between and Porsche and a Lotus. The front looks like a Porsche and the Rear looks a like Lotus.

I like it! It totally looks like a kit-car.

Its not hard to cut another hole for a dual exhaust... its probably easier than filling a hole for a single exhaust especially when the stock system is a single.

Others have mentioned there are not that many kits for our cars though while there may not be many kits in general, there are probably more total conversion/wide body kits than many other more popular sports cars at least, so you can look on the bright side cause there are lots of options here like the one posted that can make the car look quite drastically different.
