[Spyderguyny]

As many of you know the cross country relay has been going on for several years now. I’m organizing a meet on Sunday May 1, 2011 so that we can all get together, do some driving and sign the flag.

We’ll be meeting at the Sheraton Crossroads Hotel (1 International Boulevard,; Route 17 North; Mahwah,; New Jersey) at 9:30am and departing at 10:00am sharp. We will cruise some scenic twisty back roads, stopping off at West Point, NY and finally finishing up at the top of Bear Mt. for the flag signing.

I know it may be too far out for some to set definite plans. I will contact everyone on the list about a month or two prior to confirm. Hopefully the list keeps on growing and the enthusiasm keeps building the closer we get to May.

I'd be interested if my job allows, I can take it up into Maine as well if thats the direction it needs to head, I was signed up for the Rally, also down to meet up with folks on their way to it and do a convoy for any interested. Sounds fun :lol:

I beleive the Northen most part of out trip is West Point which is about 4 hours from Watkins Glen, NY.

Crap, I'm < than two hours from the Glen. More like an overnight trip for me.

Might check out more info on the area and see how close the location is to a train station to NYC. Maybe make a long W/E out of it and visit some friends in NYC.

For me, I'd leave on a Friday morning and use Sunday as my travel back home day, but I could leave late Sunday.
