Hey folks - learn me on these. I'm planning on replacing all the bushings in my suspension, and unsure if I should go with the SPF2782K standard front control arm lower-inner rear bushings, or the SPF2798K double offset version. I'm having trouble finding much comparison between the two.

They claim the double offset kit "is used for enhanced handling performance and will deliver positive caster to both sides of the vehicle". Having no prior experience with the Spyder, does it need more caster? Or is it a "sure this might improve something to some drivers, but it's at least not going to ruin the car" mod?

They're about $10 cheaper than the standard ones for what it's worth.

I actually have these, if I remember correctly, they need to be pressed in at a certain orientation with the left/right arms being mirror images of each other. If you want to adjust caster without getting arms, this would be a way to do it. More caster always helps as far as I'm concerned.

Funnily enough, I just slapped mine in 3 years ago and only just now realised my error looking at the description in your links, so I COMPLETELY misunderstood the included instructions. I thought you move the arms into position, after pressing them in, which in hindsight makes no sense at all...

If you plan on getting TTE/BV arms or are not confident you can get them in so that the arms are close to mirror images between eachother, then get the regular ones.

Well, like I said, mine were installed completely wrong so I wouldn't trust my impression on it lol

I've gotten complaints from friends that the car feels weird when steering, probably on account of my error; it makes sense though considering caster greatly affects steering feel/effort

I recommend the caster adjustment bushings. First I did camber bolts which kind of numbed the on-center steering feel. Then the bushings mostly restored the steering sharpness and I believe it also helped with the steering return to center. They come with instructions, you do need to be orient them correctly when you press them in as mentioned above lol. NVH was also improved compared to the original OEM bushings.
