Does anybody know if you can swap places on the stock double din radio with the cup holder ash tray assembly?

Nope, not enough space. Take a look behind the ash tray assembly.

Definitely will not fit with a double din...had half of my dash out yesterday, sorting out some stuff. I also had the same idea to swop the radio and cupholder/ash tray around.

You may get away with swopping them around, but with a single din HU at the top, and with no storage console below. Although, then your HU will be sitting in line with the the top of your handbrake console and I would think it would be a bit awkward to operate the HU buttons.

It just would not look right IMHO.

Wont have the radio, doing some custom work with the rexypow center console and will no longer need the stock headunit.
