Ok that’s much more reasonable. Although I agree about the salvage title hesitation, the problem with salvage branding is that it is really inconsistent. It could mean almost nothing or that the car was practically destroyed, depending on where it happened and how old the car was. With our Spyders now being “valued” at about 1/2 to 2/3 their actual market price, it’s pretty easy for something that is a pretty minor accident to hit the threshold in places where it is 60% of ACV. On the flip side, the threshold to total is 100% in Texas, so if the accident happened when the car was newish it could have sustained $20k in damage and not been “totaled”.
