I looked into getting this kit and was told they will not ship to the USA.
I wanted the complete JDL kit for mine...until I found out that shipping to South Africa from Poland was 3x the purchase price of the entire kit

There really are not many feasible options for MR2 / MR-S bodykits...

Also contemplating the Type W kit, but I dont like the way the front and sides line up.
Guess the TRD stage 1 / VIS Techno R kit will have to do... :(

BTW, has anyone fitted an '03+ TRD stage 1 lip to a '01 front bumper? Got any pics?

the bumpers a different, the 02 bumper has a sort of indent in the the centre and the 03 + has a flat end.

have you considered luxury part bodykits? not extreme ones, but he does the TRD monocraft widebody kit among others

I've never done a body kit, on any car before. So, that explains why this question will be on the ignorant side....

Are these kits simply attached or adhered to the existing factory body panels, or are they replacements of the stock panels? Possibly both, I don't know...

Thanks for the help.

Generally replacement parts. Front and rear bumper full replacement unless noted as a lip kit. Side skirts held on by screws and tape. Widebody generally replacement panels unless they are just the flares.

qmtran, thanks for the fast reply. I can now search on the language you provided, to better find what I want... I'd like to have actual replacement, where possible. I take that this thread has everything, so I'll make the time go through it more carefully.

It seems that many are from all over the world. Are there any such offerings produced or sold in the US? I can see shipping being quite costly... Thanks much.

Check out VIS. The company offers better fitment products compared to others.

You do know that Luxurypart is on this website and has threads selling his products, right?

That kind of looks Rocket Bunny(ish) with the riveted on flares that they are putting on the GT86/FR-S/BRZ. Is this kit something that is currently for sale somewhere?

looks like it's not only the flares but also bumper has addons and probably the rear

sorry for the non description earlier guys. posted that when i was on the iphone (crap typing on smartphones, think my fingers are too big) -_-

kortik, it was
taken from one of the japanese MR-S owners blogs, they had a Tsukuba Super Battle track day session recently. so i think it 'broke cover' given the response. Don't think they have this on techno pro spirit site yet.

i doubt it will be confined to just one off.

Thanks coolapple.

yes, it reminds me of Technopro spirit color style
but it looks like just stock body kit with TRD lip upfront and fender flares. I am not sure if the fender flares are custom or did they make any of them for Spyder?

the rear tire looks like 275 or something its huge do you really need that much meat on the ground or the more is always better?

it is a stock mr-s with wide fender arches.
i don't think they are 275 (if that spyder is still 2zz or even 3zz (stroker kit).

most guys (over here at least) felt having wider stance has a bit more stability in high speed. less twitchy
