DAMD Aero Bulge.

EDIT: The geniune version has no gap where the rear of it meets the engine lid. I had one. There were several replicas of it that did not fit as well and the gap was the dead giveaway. Check the inside of the cover for OEM markings.

´Tonneau´ is correct for any sort of cover, partly or entirely of the tub.

The soft, tarp, cover used to be an almost universal weather protection for runabaout vintage/classic sports cars/cabrios.

The hard cover was mainly derived from ´Le Mans´ type spiders (no/low windscreen) with the passenger side cover and the aero bulge only behind the driver.

The latter is surprisingly difficult to find for the ZZW30 but they áre about. Here sc threads

The tarp one you will need to DIY like I did.

Wow, I appreciate your insight and the information you provided. It's cool to know that this is a hard to find appearance mod. Thanks a bunch!

You´re welcome.

And to give a succinct answer to the topic title: Yes it is called a tonneau but it isn´t

A pity we lost ´the russian´. I would have bought one from him. But as it turned out it was a blessing in diguise as I now have a classic tonneau, central zipper and all.

WHAT!!! How is this not mass produced? Doesn't seem like a hard piece to replicate. I would've wanted one so bad before the hardtop...just for that buttress look
